Frankel's brother Noble Mission heading to Japan for 2021
Three-time Group 1 winner has had some success in America
Stallion and Frankel's full-brother Noble Mission is on the move to Japan for the 2021 covering season, according to an announcement by the Japan Bloodstock Breeders' Association.
Now 11, Noble Mission has been standing at Lane's End Farm in Kentucky since his successful career on the track with Sir Henry and Lady Cecil.
He won the likes of the Gordon Stakes before making a significant breakthrough as a five-year-old in landing the Tattersalls Gold Cup, Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud and edging a thriller with Al Kazeem for his swansong in the Champion Stakes.
Noble Mission has already managed success as a stallion through Code Of Honor, who became his first top-level scorer in the Jockey Club Gold Cup and Travers Stakes, while son Spanish Mission landed last month's Doncaster Cup.
He will stand alongside some familiar names on the JBBA roster including Animal Kingdom, Bago, Makfi, Declaration Of War and Cape Blanco. It reports that he will be heading to Japan in late November before arriving at Shizunai Stallion Station in late December.
Frankel himself is very well-regarded by Japanese breeders and has supplied the Grade 1 winners Soul Stirring and Mozu Ascot.
