Frankel's stud fee for 2025 revealed as Juddmonte unveil roster
Juddmonte have unveiled their 2025 roster and fees, with the phenomenal Frankel set to stand for £350,000 once more.
The dual world champion racehorse and British and Irish champion sire is responsible for 24 individual black-type winners this year, including 15 Group winners.
Among them are Cheveley Park and Moyglare Stakes winner Lake Victoria; Debutante, Silver Flash and Chesham Stakes scorer Bedtime Story; and Exactly, a wide-margin winner of the Killavullan Stakes this month and placed in the Moyglare and Prix Marcel Boussac.
In the sales ring Frankel achieved a personal best with a 2024 yearling average of £760,240 for 30 sold. Across all European yearling sales, he is the leading sire by average, while he has sired the highest-priced yearling of 2024 in the northern hemisphere and topped both the Tattersalls October and Goffs Orby Yearling Sales.
The 16-year-old has sired the sale-topper at Tattersalls Book 1 for the last three seasons.
Frankel's son Chaldean, the 2,000 Guineas and Dewhurst winner, received a warm welcome from breeders with 173 mares in his first book, including 99 black-type performers or producers.
Currently at Cambridge Stud in New Zealand on shuttling duties, he covered more Group winners, stakes winners and black-type performers than any other first-season sire in Britain and Ireland. His fee is unchanged at £25,000.
Kingman is enjoying another banner year, with two new Classic winners in 1,000 Guineas heroine Elmalka and Prix de Diane scorer Sparkling Plenty, as well as Prix de l'Opera winner Friendly Soul.
Standing again for £125,000, the son of Invincible Spirit has sired 18 individual stakes winners and 11 Group winners in 2024.
Alongside Justify and Galileo, he is co-leading sire by northern hemisphere-bred Group 1-winning three-year-olds.
Banstead Manor Stud stalwart Oasis Dream is unchanged at £15,000, having concluded his 20th breeding season with an impressive 93 per cent fertility.
Only Dubawi and Frankel have sired more Group 1 winners and Group winners of stallions still active in Britain and Ireland, while his 2024 haul includes Vintage Stakes winner Aomori City.
The Green Desert horse is also an outstanding broodmare sire, with 58 of his daughters having produced Group winners, including 15 Group 1 winners.
