First foals of these popular mares to be offered on Tuesday
Westerner Lady, Avispa and Thanks For Tea all represented
A number of first foals out of high-class mares will come under the hammer on Tuesday during the second foal session of the Tattersalls Ireland November National Hunt Sale.
John Dwan's Ballyreddin Stud, who sold two of the top three lots during the yearling session on Sunday, will offer a February-foaled Martaline filly (lot 540) who is the first offspring of the high-class jumps mare Westerner Lady.
Willie Mullins trained the daughter of Westerner throughout her career to win ten of her 17 starts, and she posted four Graded victories culminating in success in a Grade 2 mares' novice chase at Thurles.

Another filly who makes plenty of appeal is an April-born daughter of Saint Des Saints (533), who will be consigned by Ballincurrig House Stud on behalf of Quill Farm.
She is the first foal to date for the talented Kayf Tara mare Avispa, a four-time winner who landed a Listed bumper at the 2014 Aintree Grand National meeting.
Ballyhampshire Stud will also present a March-born Mount Nelson colt (630) who is the first produce of classy chaser Thanks For Tea, who achieved black type when runner-up in the Grade 3 TA Morris Memorial Mares Chase at Clonmel and when placed in a Grade 3 novice chase at Cork.
