First mares confirmed in foal for Newsells Park Stud's Without Parole
Among the mares is John and Tanya Gunther’s well-related Church On Time
St James's Palace Stakes winner and Newsells Park Stud's newest resident Without Parole has had his first mares confirmed in foal.
The son of Frankel, who was retired to the Hertfordshire stud last autumn, also won the Listed Heron Stakes and placed in several of America's leading mile contests including the Breeders' Cup Mile and Shoemaker Mile.
The first mare to scan in foal to the six-year-old was, fittingly, his owner-breeder John and Tanya Gunther’s Church On Time, a half-sister to Grade 1 American Oaks winner Competitionofideas.
Other mares scanned in foal include Skrei, a stakes-winning daughter of Approve from the immediate family of Cheveley Park Stakes winner Lumiere, and Atomic Blonde, a stakes winner by the late Scat Daddy.
Without Parole is out of the Gunther's top producer Without You Babe - an unraced daughter of Lemon Drop Kid - and a half-brother to Tamarkuz, winner of the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile and a promising young sire for Shadwell in Kentucky.
