The first foals by Haras de Bouquetot's Gimcrack and July Stakes winner Lusail have arrived.

The first born was Haras de Castillon's filly out of Kodiac mare Evertogether, who hails from the close family of Group performers Mind Of Madness and Dragon Pulse.

Just a few days later, War Story, the dam of recent stakes winner Territory War, delivered a filly at SCEA des Prairies in Brittany.

Breeder Thomas Jeffroy said: "War Story's Lusail filly is splendid. Given the mare’s previous production, Lusail has brought the desired attributes: substance, a strong physique, and good bone."

Linea Blu, a Due Diligence half-sister to Group winner Keeper Of Time, produced another filly by at Haras d’Ecouche in Normandy.

Last night, a couple more fillies made their way into the world, including one out of Baileys Showgirl, who foaled at Haras des Trois Chapelles. A stakes-winning daughter of Sepoy, Baileys Showgirl also placed in both the Group 3 Prix de la Rochette and Prix du Calvados.

Not long after, it was Al Shaqab Racing's homebred Shalfah who delivered yet another filly. Shalfah is a daughter of Invincible Spirit and Prix de Diane third Rjwa.

Lusail, a son of Mehmas, was a high-class performer for Al Shaqab Racing and Richard Hannon, winning his brace of Group 2s as a juvenile and then placing in the St James's Palace Stakes and Prix Jean Prat the following year.

The six-year-old stands his second season for €5,000 (down from €6,000 in 2024).
