First batch of entries for inaugural Goodwood Sale unveiled
Half-sister to Mildenberger among the lots to be offered at boutique auction
The first four entries for the Goffs UK Goodwood Sale, to be held next month, have been announced.
Among them are Belle Vale, a five-year-old daughter of Cape Cross in foal to Bobby's Kitten and offered with a Brazen Beau colt foal at foot. There is added appeal to breeders as she is a half-sister to Listed winner Mildenberger and a daughter of Belle Josephine - who sold for £720,000 at the Goffs London Sale last month.
Another broodmare up for grabs is Learned Friend, the dam of Group 3 winner Inns Of Court offered in foal to Yeomanstown Stud's Dark Angel.
A 50 per cent share will be offered in the Gay Kelleway-trained Cosmelli, the winner of seven of his 19 starts, with the long-term goal to campaign the son of Mr Vegas in Australia.
Completing the quartet of initial entries is the two-year-old breezer Max Emperor, a son of Holy Roman Emperor who will be consigned by Con Marnane's Bansha House Stables.
