Fasig-Tipton the first thoroughbred sales company to accept cryptocurrency
The service will come into use at the Saratoga Sale from August 9-10
Fasig-Tipton will become the first thoroughbred sales company to accept cryptocurrency as payment for equine purchases, with the upcoming Saratoga Sale the first auction to accept the service.
The auction house has partnered with Crypto.com, the world’s fastest growing crypto app which provides a secure payment platform for around 220 million crypto users around the world.
Those who pay for yearlings with cryptocurrency at Saratoga from August 9-10 will receive cryptocurrency rewards, courtesy of Swapp Protocol, the official Cryptocurrency Rewards Partner of the Saratoga Sale.
The buyer of the top-priced horse paid with cryptocurrency at will receive one million SWAPP tokens, which are exchangeable for various fiat and cryptocurrencies.
