Eight proven pointers supplemented to Goffs UK January Sale
Ten-length Templenacarriga winner Streets Of Fire among the extras
Eight exciting point-to-point horses have been supplemented to the form horse session of the Goffs UK January Sale at Doncaster, which takes place January 22-23.
Last year’s January Sale was topped by Phoenix Way, a 12-length winner between the flags at Killeagh, at £270,000. He won a Plumpton novice hurdle for Harry Fry and JP McManus on Sunday.
The 2019 session will once again offer a number of high-class entries. The point-to-point and form horse session will be held on the second day of the sale, along with horses in training, and the session remains open to supplementary entries.
The additional eight point-to-point entries are:
- Streets Of Fire (lot 258), the ten-length winner of her most recent point for Colin Bowe at Templenacarriga
- Avoid De Master (259), winner of his most recent point for Paurick O'Connor at Mainstown
- Karen’s Gift (261), winner of her most recent point for John Walsh at Mainstown
- Word Has It (262), placed on both his point starts last year as a four-year-old for Joe Casey, his most recent seeing him place second to Banner Rebel at Dromahane
- Go To Court (263), the six-length winner of her most recent point for William Murphy at Mainstown
- Darius Des Sources (266), winner of his most recent point for Kevin O'Sullivan at Templenacarriga
- Hon The DJ (270), placed third on his debut point for Francesca Nimmo at Larkhill
- Eclair Des Sablons (271), a dual placed pointer last year for Colin Bowe as a four-year-old, his most recent placing seeing him finish second at Lisronagh
The Goffs UK January sale will also feature the TBA National Hunt Stallion Showcase on the first day of the sale, which will offer viewing of 19 stallions.
