Easy Ayr winner Volatile Analyst a late wildcard entry to Tattersalls July Sale
Two-year-old to be auctioned on Thursday, just days after impressive debut win
A sixth ‘wildcard’ has been added to the Tattersalls July Sale, with the Keith Dalgleish-trained two-year-old colt Volatile Analyst to be offered at the evening session on Thursday.
The colt will be consigned from Dalgleish’s Belstane Racing Stables and will be catalogued as lot 560A.
The juvenile made an impressive winning debut on good to firm ground at Ayr over six furlongs on Monday this week, quickening clear of more experienced rivals and earning himself the 'one to note' spot in the Racing Post's 'Yesterday At The Races' feature.
By top US-based sire Distorted Humor, whose European Group 1-winning two-year-olds include Pathfork and Cursory Glance, Volatile Analyst is out of Gentle Caroline, a Street Sense half-sister to Grade 1 Alcibiades Stakes winner Gomo.
The full catalogue for the 2019 Tattersalls July Sale, which runs from Wednesday to Friday, can be viewed online at http://www.tattersalls.com/ and is available from Tattersalls and Tattersalls overseas representatives.
Numbering 910 lots, the sale comprises 820 horses and fillies in and out of training and 90 broodmares, seven of which have foals at foot.
