Delius headlines 19 wildcards for Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale
Delius, who was last seen finishing eighth in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, is among 19 wildcard additions to next week's Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale.
Consigned by Coolmore, the three-year-old only began his career in April this year and was successful on his first three starts, culminating in the Group 3 Prix du Lys at Chantilly. A 675,000gns Tattersalls December Foal Sale purchase, the Frankel colt was then third in the Group 1 Grand Prix du Paris behind Sosie and second to the same rival in the Prix Niel.
Another Frankel wildcard from Coolmore is The Euphrates, a winner of the Listed Marble City Stakes and the Irish Cesarewitch who made the pace for stablemate Kyprios on Champions Day last weekend.
Coolmore have also added His Majesty, who made a winning debut as a two-year-old in the Listed First Flier Stakes at the Curragh and placed in the Marble Hill Stakes, Railway Stakes and Prix Robert Papin.
Champagne Stakes runner-up Monumental has joined those in the draft in the draft while the John Ryan-trained La Bellota, who was a neck second in the Mill Reef Stakes, is another notable inclusion. Al Shabab Storm, winner of the Group 3 Goldene Peitsche for trainer Andrew Balding at the end of August, is a further wildcard.
