Watchful, whose daughter Watch Me claimed Royal Ascot honours in last summer's Coronation Stakes, will go under the hammer as a wildcard at the Arqana Breeding Stock Sale on December 7.
The 15-year-old Galileo mare is being offered in-foal to Golden Horn by Antoinette Tamagni's Haras du Petit Tellier, which bought her carrying Watch Me back in 2015.
Watchful, who won twice during her racing career for Luca Cumani, has produced three subsequent colts by Elvstroem.
Two other exciting fillies will join her in the Deauville ring. Koala, once raced for consignor Nicolas Clement, is a two-year-old Kodiac half-sister to this year's 2,000 Guineas winner Magna Grecia.
The third wildcard is Aeronautical, consigned by Coulonces, an unraced Medaglia d'Oro three-year-old from the family of Titus Livius and Zagora.
Five more wildcards are likely to be announced before the four-day event begins.
