1. Coolmore broaden their buying horizons
There are countless instances of Coolmore having benefited from supporting their own stallions’ stock at the sales, with Camelot’s son Luxembourg and Blackbeard, by No Nay Never, just two recent Group 1-winning examples.
That is not to say that the operation hasn’t successfully got behind the progeny of outside sires too, as highlighted by the likes of St Mark's Basilica and Fairyland.
