Classy juvenile Rumble Inthejungle recruited to Norman Court Stud roster
Son of Bungle Inthejungle struck in the Molecomb Stakes in 2018
Norman Court Stud will welcome Rumble Inthejungle to its ranks after it was announced the Group 3 Molecomb Stakes winner will retire to stand alongside Sixties Icon.
The son of Bungle Inthejungle, who jockey Tom Queally hailed as one of the best juveniles he had ridden, proved a precocious talent, striking by a neck on his debut at Salisbury at two before finishing fourth in the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot and then landing the Molecomb Stakes on his third start.
Rumble Inthejungle went on to take third in the Middle Park Stakes behind Ten Sovereigns on his final start at two. He raced four times at three, with his best effort coming when fourth behind Battaash in last year's King George Stakes at Goodwood.
Norman Court Stud's latest recruit has a pedigree that should ensure he will be popular with commercial breeders as his sire comes from the Exceed And Excel line renowned for producing plenty of precocious speed.
Rumble Inthejungle's dam, Guana, is a daughter of the brilliant Dark Angel, while his grand dam is by champion sire Cadeaux Genereux.
Keith Evans, manager of Norman Court Stud said: "Rumble Inthejungle has the perfect combination of looks, sire line, dam line and race performance to make him a successful sire and we
feel he will fit in perfectly with our existing stallion, Sixties Icon."
In a deal brokered by Geoffrey Howson of Howson & Houldsworth Bloodstock, the four-year-old will stand for a fee of £3,500 while a number of breeding rights will also be available.
