Another of jumping's leading ladies is set to command plenty of attention in the ring, with Cheltenham Festival winner Laurina featuring among more than 700 lots in the Tattersalls Ireland November National Hunt Sale.

She is due to appear on Monday as lot 801A, one of five wildcards catalogued, with the majority of the entrants being foals selling over three sessions from Saturday.

Laurina, who is being consigned by Ballincurrig House Stud, was recruited by Willie Mullins and owner Jared Sullivan from Guillaume Macaire in France and made a smooth transition by winning six in a row, including the 2018 Dawn Run Novices' Hurdle and a Grade 1 at Fairyhouse.

She was fourth in last year's Champion Hurdle and won once over fences before losing her way, with a brief stint with Paul Nicholls heralding her retirement.

The daughter of Spanish Moon is a half-sister to prolific French hurdler Lamigo, with more younger siblings in the pipeline.

It seems distinctly unlikely that there will be a figure to rival that of the mighty Apple's Jade, who became the highest-priced National Hunt mare to be sold at public auction when making €530,000 at Goffs, but there are other interesting late inclusions such as graded placed Moskovite (803A), covered by Crystal Ocean, and the exciting Ballyadam's half-sister Regal Return (786), who was covered by Poet's Word.

WH Bloodstock has a draft of mares featuring ex-Nicholls Listed bumper and hurdle winner Posh Trish (797).

The highlight of last year's event, held in its usually uninterrupted mid-November slot, was when Irish international footballer Kevin Doyle bought Altior's Camelot half-brother for €155,000.

There are numerous youngsters with the sort of pedigrees which could see them skirt six figures, including the Galbertstown Stables-offered (380) Walk In The Park half-brother to late Champion Bumper winner Fayonagh. The three-year-old Milan sibling made €195,000 earlier this year.

Champion stayer Order Of St George's first foals have come to market and lot 422 represents some regal National Hunt blood. Thistletown Stud's filly is a half-brother to 2013 Cheltenham Gold Cup hero Bobs Worth.

Also for sale are the final foals of the retired Flemensfirth, with 11 due to go through the ring including the Castledillon Stud-consigned full-brother (492) to Tornado Flyer, who could have a Grade 1 in him judged on his close second to Min in the John Durkan last weekend.

Sessions begin each day at 10am in the Tattersalls Ireland Fairyhouse complex.
