The latest chapter of Remember When's astonishing broodmare career is set to continue at Gowran Park on Monday when Aidan O'Brien unleashes the blue-blooded King Of The Castle in the mile maiden.

Second behind Snow Fairy in the 2010 Investec Oaks, Remember When is a three-parts sister to the top-class middle-distance performer Dylan Thomas, the pair being out of Lagrion, a daughter of Diesis who also produced 1,000 Guineas heroine Homecoming Queen and champion two-year-old filly Queen's Logic.

Remember When has been sent exclusively to Coolmore's champion sire since retiring from racing ten years ago – with her first five European runners winning stakes races – and her name hit the headlines when Serpentine struck a major surprise in the Investec Derby earlier this season having only won a maiden at the Curragh a week before.

The colt was also providing the supersire with a record-breaking fifth win in the Epsom Classic, surpassing Sir Peter Teazle, Waxy, Cyllene, Blandford and late studmate Montjeu.

Serpentine was a reasonable fourth in the Qipco Champion Stakes at Ascot on Saturday, while Remember When's other stakes-winning progeny are Wedding Vow, winner of the Kilboy Estate Stakes and second in the Nassau Stakes behind Legatissimo, Group 3 scorer Beacon Rock, Blue Wind Stakes victress and Oaks third Bye Bye Baby, plus the Listed-winning Bound.

King Of The Castle is Remember When's seventh foal, while she also has a yearling colt by Galileo on the ground.
