The Group-winning and multiple Group 1-placed Lope Y Fernandez is an exciting recruit to the National Stud, where he joins the likes of exciting second-season sires Time Test, Aclaim and top-class sprinter Advertise.
As part of GBRI's Great British Stallion Showcase, the team went to visit the son of Lope De Vega to find out about his daily routine, for their new series 'A day in the new life of...'
The video takes us to the stallion yard at the Newmarket stud and offers exclusive insight into Lope Y Fernandez's day-to-day routine: from his first feed at 6am, brushing and readying for his first cover at 8am, through to a stint on the walker and time relaxing in his field, before his afternoon cover and evening schedule.
