Sire of the year
Dark Angel is an obvious choice in the year that he will be crowned champion sire in Britain and Ireland, becoming the first title-holder not owned by the superpowers of Coolmore, Darley or Juddmonte since 1989.
It cannot be overstated what an outstanding feat the son of Acclamation’s rise to the summit of the stallion ranks has been for his owners, the O’Callaghan family of Yeomanstown Stud in County Kildare.
