The glint of white from snowdrops underneath the trees along the avenue leading up to the home of Coolmore's stallions is a delicate hint of spring to come.
Among the foliage are statues of past greats who have all contributed to transforming this corner of Tipperary into the centre of a globally renowned bloodstock behemoth.
One horse did more than most to establish not only Coolmore as the force it is now but Ireland as a world power too.
