Tom Peacock talks champion horses with Olympic gold medal winner Laura Collett
Three middle-aged men in lycra are in for a surprise as they round a bend on the quietest of country lanes in the Cotswolds.
Laura Collett and London 52, who would have been leading news bulletins this time a year ago, are standing on a grass verge outside a set of grand gates for the Racing Post’s impromptu photoshoot looking every inch the golden couple.
Collett, her Olympic medal sparkling in one hand, is momentarily slightly self-conscious at this distraction but the same could not be levelled at her companion.
