Fasig-Tipton unveils 'strongest group we have ever offered at Kentucky October'
More than 1,500 yearlings catalogued for the four-day sale starting on the 26th
Fasig-Tipton has catalogued 1,553 yearlings for its Kentucky October Yearlings Sale, to be held from the 26th to the 29th at its Newtown Paddock sales grounds near Lexington. The four continuous sessions, conducted Monday-Thursday, will begin each day at 10am.
"This is the strongest group of yearlings we have ever offered at Kentucky October," said Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning jnr. "This spring, a significant number of sellers decided that they would target October with many of their top yearlings. Buyers will find tremendous quality here, no matter what their budget."
This year's catalogue cover features recent sale graduates British Idiom and Gretzky the Great, both Grade 1 winning two-year-olds.
British Idiom, a daughter of Flashback, captured the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies and Darley Alcibiades Stakes - also a Grade 1 - on her way to being named Eclipse champion two-year-old filly of 2019.
Gretzky the Great, a son of Nyquist, recently won the Grade 1 Summer Stakes - his second consecutive stakes win this year - to establish himself as one of the top two-year-olds in North America.
The catalogue may now be viewed online.
Online bidding and phone bidding services will be available to buyers.
