Danon Ballade filly lands Racing Post Foal Gallery prize for June
Winning entry by Maxine Franklin received 214 votes
Maxine Franklin, a regular contributor to the Plusvital-sponsored Racing Post Foal Gallery, receives the June prize for the competition after her Danon Ballade filly out of the Fantastic Light mare Jewelled received 214 votes.
The youngster, who arrived at Northmore Stud in Newmarket on April 27, is pictured in the paddock at a month old, and was bred by Mr and Mrs Franklin from Danon Ballade, a son of Deep Impact who stood a sole season at Batsford Stud last year before returning to his native Japan.
The winner will receive one free Plusvital Speed Gene Test and a selection of Plusvital breeding supplements, while Anna Varey from the Cotswolds is the voter selected at random to receive a selection of Plusvital goodies.
The Racing Post Foal Gallery will return again next year.
